Como a demo oculta as setas
LeftArrow e RightArrow são props opcionais — passe undefined e o slot não é renderizado de forma alguma, então não há nada para esconder com CSS e não sobram botões na ordem de tabulação. O interruptor é uma checagem matchMedia(’(pointer: coarse)’) num efeito: o servidor não pode saber o tipo de ponteiro, então o primeiro paint é desktop-first com setas, e a hidratação as remove assim que um ponteiro grosso é confirmado. Um listener change o mantém vivo — a emulação de dispositivo do DevTools vira sem recarregar.
O que a história faz ao tocar
O hook useSwipe da história transforma o pan livre em paginação. As props currificadas onTouchStart, onTouchMove e onTouchEnd recebem cada uma o objeto API; start reseta a coordenada final e registra targetTouches[0].clientX, move a rastreia, e end mede a distância percorrida. Além de minSwipeDistance (20px) chama apiObj.scrollPrev() ou apiObj.scrollNext() — uma página suave por deslize, seja qual for a velocidade do dedo.
Suprimindo a rolagem de toque nativa
Para a paginação ser o único movimento, o pan do navegador tem que parar, e React 18+ registra os listeners de touchmove como passivos, onde preventDefault é ignorado. O efeito da história alcança o elemento de rolagem real pelo apiRef (ref.current.scrollContainer.current) e anexa seu próprio listener com { passive: false }, onde a chamada funciona.
Notas
- Escolha o padrão de SSR de propósito: renderizar as setas primeiro favorece crawlers e usuários de desktop, e dispositivos de toque as perdem logo após a hidratação.
